- Carriage free on orders over £30. Orders under £30 will have a small order/carriage charge applied of £1.95.
Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit & debit card payments.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch (Maestro), Solo, Delta, Amex. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, mail or over the Internet.
We also accept payments Cheques & Postal Orders. Cheques & postal orders should be made payable to P A Carpenter.
Dispatch times
Where possible orders are processed & shipped within 48 hours of confirmed payment, but please allow up to 14 days for receipt to account for fluctuations in delivery service by carriers, & our own stock replenishment.
If we do not expect you to receive your goods within 14 days we will contact you with an expected date of delivery. You will be given the opportunity to leave the item on back order, cancel the order in part or in full, or accept an alternative item.
Please note that Milano are not able to provide us with delivery dates on out of stock items, only to say "within 21 days". In practice this is normally sooner, often within 7-14 days, but this can't be guaranteed.
You will be notified of shipment within 24 hours of the goods being dispatched. All items are sent are sent via Royal Mail or carrier depending on value, & should reach you within 3-4 days of dispatch.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Sizes 26" - 36" are standard sizes.
Prices & Delivery Charges
All published prices are inclusive of any taxes. UK carriage charges for orders under £30 are £1.95.

Returns Policy
IMPORTANT - Before returning any item please complete the returns form you should receive with your order. If you don't have one please contact our sales office who will e mail one to you, or issue you with a Returns Authority Number to be quoted with the returned goods. Failure to do either of these may result in your refund or credit being delayed.
All items for, exchange, credit or refund should be returned to reach us within 7 days of their receipt by the customer. Only faulty items can be considered for exchange outside this period.
Goods found to be faulty on receipt will be replaced, or the purchase price refunded, on their return to us. Please ensure that all garment packaging is returned with the item.
Items that develop faults after use will be replaced or the purchase price refunded, provided the fault is not due to fair wear & tear or damage by the customer. Some manufacturers will require inspection of the garment before sanctioning a credit.
Items that do not fit can be exchanged for another size of the same garment, provided the garment is returned to us in a saleable condition, and with its' original packaging, tags & labels in tact. Exchanges for another style or colour will be treated as a new order with any carriage charges/restocking charges etc payable. If the item has been supplied to our suggested size, then no charge will be made for the return postage.
If the garment has been supplied as ordered then a charge of £2.50 may be made for the cost of return postage & packing on any exchanged item.
Garments accepted for credit or refund that were supplied as ordered will be subject to a 15% handling & restocking charge.
Garments specially ordered, that are not a normal stock line, can not be accepted for credit.
Please ensure that all return packages have the correct postage paid on them. We DO NOT accept any deliveries that need surcharges paid.
Credits & Refunds are for products only (less any restocking charges). Postage is not refundable. The actual cost of our outward postage will be deducted from any refund.
We aim to process all refunds within 7 days, but please allow up to 14-31 days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
All returns are made at the senders risk, so for your own security we advise you to send them recorded or special delivery.
Our Request to You
Please take care when trying on garments. Keep them away from moisture & grease, do not wear heavy perfume. Do not remove any tags or labels unless you are certain of keeping the garment, we will not accept them for return if you do. Please remember we are happy to exchange goods if these simple rules are followed.
In short, please return goods in a condition in which you would happy to receive them.
